Turns out the reason why the car was not running right, especially during cold starts is because the Motul oil he was using was too thick for the VQ engine.

took me a couple of hours with my wife's blowdryer and some patience. its easier with 2 people, but i had to do it dolo.

Did you use a heat gun to soften the paint, or did you just get lucky?

I'm going to give him a call tomorrow to see if he will do it. If not then I'll go down there and do it myself.

Great news, I just got called for 24hrs of overtime tomorrow. Cha Ching. I'll be working in the Ghetto. That's a big change from Weston, looks like I'll be earning that money.
