Great news, I just got called for 24hrs of overtime tomorrow. Cha Ching. I'll be working in the Ghetto. That's a big change from Weston, looks like I'll be earning that money.
And one mo thing not sure if you guys have heard yet buttttttt ALEX'S (Bapestah) 350z IS FIXED!
Turns out the reason why the car was not running right, especially during cold starts is because the Motul oil he was using was too thick for the VQ engine.

But I'm glad they found the problem and the car is fixed.

You could always use a flushing oil to get rid of the thicker buildup, but obviously you wouldn't want to run on it - its too thin.
I like Royal Purple or Mobil 1 full synthetic for mine. Just my preference.

Lol thanks everyone for the the grats! Its good to have a smooth running car again without having to be emberrased of leaving public parking lots
Regarding the issue..... well according to the Nissan corporate tech that is, The HR motor is NOT meant to be ran with Ester oil, which is a variant of regular engine oil. Whats special about the
"Ester"-ness?? I have no cluee, BUT... The engine oil i started using (Motul 300V-5w30 uses DOUBLE Ester Technology...... FML right??)
Sooo aperently the oil wasn't able to get through a set of ports that bring it up to the top of the head to lubricate the Cams, which was retarding my cam-timing. It would only happen for a few minutes though because once the oil warmed up it was fine. Im still skeptical.... but hei, my cars fixed and im happy
Now we begi- errr..... Resume the modding process ^_^ Next stop, Volk TE's anyone??? TEAM PB FTW
Mornin'!!! Busy as usual at work. Just finished with payroll yesterday and this morning.
This weekend is going to be soggy! Can't wait to get new tires and a big brake kit. I'm going to need it. Looks like it's going to be a busy rainy season.
