pembroke pines/miramar area is a great place to live if you're into the suburb life. not really scary with crime and i can't recall anyone i've known personally ever getting mugged. my families lived here for over 10 yrs and zero problems. best time to buy a house is now of course

Only really been to the meets down there but the area is nice. I'd really look into where you will want to work. That is important b/c in South Florida a lot of things can be a drive.

 

u in fort lauderdale right? How u like it there?

 

I really like it down here. Lots of different things going on depending on what your into, sports, car shows, concerts. Bars/Clubs in most areas are open to 4am or later. Only thing that sucks is you'll meet people in a lot of different areas and some are just a long drive. When I first moved down I figured I'd go to Miami. But in reality its such a far drive I've only been a handful of times.
