I agree that The Genesis is badass. Ive driven both the 4 and the 6. The fit and finish is incredible. But, they still need a couple more years. Untill then, Nissan and Toyota own the drift world. Id like to see a 300+ turbo Genesis. I would def. trade my car for one.

 

it should be easily achievable...all they have to due is switch the ecu and certain internals and its the same motor from an EvoX

 

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just do a motor swap then. Also I saw the V6 coupe the other day, and I wasn't to impressed with how it looked. It looks like a Tiburon, actually the Tiburon looks better IMO.

that thread i just linked has a genesis 2.0t doing 387.89whp on stock internals and here's what he changed:

Power: 387.89 whp

Torque : 357.89 lb/ft

Engine Internals : Stock

^^ the dyno however is done on a dynojet so about how much would that be on a mustang dyno since thats what we're all familiar with?

ECU Tune: 223.6whp(PS), Torque 42.6kg/m

Approximately 35whp(PS) gain and 12.5kg/m torque increase."

if you do the math to how much torque the car now has:

42.6kg.m = 308.13lb/ft

that's an 89.7lb/ft increase in torque

i'm still not sure what type of dyno they used tho but 308lb/ft is a pretty good number

 

ya the guy needs to get rid of it because they're expecting a second child soon and they need some backseats lawl and a more family oriented car

Well, it is a really far drive!! Gas is getting expensive!! I filled up for $2.90/gal this morning! That's why I haven't decided yet... But it looks like a blast! Still deciding....
