Good morning. I saw Transformers last night, and thought it was better than the first one. On my way home around midnight Alice and I drove up on a tragic accident on Sheridan by Pemboke Falls. We were one of the first ones to come up on it. Looked like a Lexus IS, it was split open like a clam shell. Two teenage kids were ejected one of them was killed, only 16 years old. Apperantly there were two cars involved, and it sounds like they were racing. I think only the lexus actually crashed; it hit one of the concrete light poles hard enough to split the car the way it did. Those light poles are made to break away on impact, and cause little damage to cars, but the speed was so high that it split the car open. I remeber people running around looking for their friends franticlly. I ended up finding the 2 that were ejected one of them was well hidden in some bushes. He was the lucky one had it not been for the bushes he would have hit the barrier wall head on. I hope none of you guys from our meets knew the poor kid that died. Alice has never seen anything like that before, so she was pretty bumbed out, but she kept her composer on seen and help me with everything even when rescue arrived.

 

Wow Gabe that is horrible. Those kids were lucky you showed up and you knew what to do.

Hey everyone. I am staying with Miguel and Christine tonight and headed to the picnic tomorrow. I forgot to pay in advance/sign up in the sfzcc thread, but I'll be there with my $10 lol.

Just to let everyone know, I will not, unfortunately be driving my car to the meet (It's staying at Miguel's house). I found out today (from an oh-so-nice FHP) that my license got suspended. It's a long story, it's really stupid, there was a change in my insurance policy. There has already been a lot of **** being talked about it/me/my car on my FGC forum, but it was something small and dumb and I should be getting my license back on Monday.

Anyways. I'll be there tomorrow car-less but I'm still looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone
