I need some help from the Georgia Z members
I'm from San Antonio, Texas and I'll be relocating to Georgia for work related reasons. I need to ask you guys from the Georgia region some questions about the area that concern my 350Z. The first one is if it's legal to have a "Radar Detector" in that state. Also how about the "Front License" plate, Is this a state law requirement and how harsh are the law enforcement officers pursuing violators. Here in Texas it's a law also but so far I'm not using it and I haven't had any problems with the law. Knock on wood!!!!. And last question is concerning fire arms, I have a conceal handgun license and I want to know how is the law in Georgia if you guys know anything about it.

I lived in Georgia for 15yrs, just moved to Florida.
1. You can have radar detectors
2. No front plate is needed
3. Have no clue about the gun laws so here:

What part of Georgia are you moving to?

I went to Georgia about a week ago for interview and saw the constructions as well and it's pretty big. I have a conceal hand gun license from Texas and I will like to know if you ask your buddy, the cop, if this one is a reciprocating license according to the gun laws of Georgia. These are a couple of pictures from my Z for you guys to see.

Fire arms answer
I moved to GA from TN. You say you are relocating for work. If you are physically changing addresses then you will have to get a Georgia firearms license even though GA may have reciprocity with TX. TN had reciprocity with GA but I still had to get a GA firearms license even though I had a TN firearms license. Very easy to do in GA, just go to your county court house and pay them 30 bucks or so to do a back ground check (they will finger print you, etc). Then you will get it in the mail in a few weeks. In TN, I had to take and pass a test both written and shooting..Compared to TN, GA was simple...

Hi guys, I have one more question for you all. I'm looking into getting a new cell phone as soon as I arrive into Georgia and I want to see which company, Sprint, AT&T or Verizon Wireless is the one that provides the best service in and around Atlanta, GA. Any feedback will be very appreciative and Thank You! in advance guys.
