YES ! 7 day forecast says 67 and sunny for Saturday !
Here is some additional info for the show this Saturday.
Schedule -
8:00 - Gates open
8:30 - 11:30 - Registration
11:00 - Judging begins
12:00 - Lunch
1:30 - Awards
A few questions answered -
Everyone is welcome, there is no fee for spectator admission.
The closest hotel is...
Holiday Inn Express Wakefield
11400 Common Oaks Drive
Raleigh, NC
919-570-5550
Despite the Raleigh address, this hotel is across Capital and just up from the dealership.
By popular demand, the t-shirt color this year is charcoal.
We will be on the front rows of the dealership, closest to Capital Blvd. If you are looking at the arial view of Google Maps, you will not see the dealership, but an old warehouse / manufacturing building. Microsoft LiveSearch has more current arial views.
Simplest driving directions, 540 around Raleigh to the Capital Blvd / Highway 1 exit, north approximately 5 miles. Crossroads Nissan will be on the right as you head north.
Any other questions feel free to post here or e-mail jjarvis@nc.rr.com
See you Saturday !

Jason,
I just checked the weather today too, and the forecast for Saturday is looking great. We should have a good group from our club coming too. See you on Saturday.

Thanks to you and all the guys and gals of the Triangle Z Club for another great show. Also thanks to Crossroads Nissan for hosting the show. It's a very nice facility.
The Emerald City Z Club is also very proud of our club turn out. The club had 10 members register their cars and two friends of a member who came with the member also registered their cars. And our club took home a total of 7 trophies.
Here are some of my pictures.

Here is a link to all the pictures I took if you want to use any of them. I got pictures of most of the awards too, but not all of them. http://s171.photobucket.com/albums/u...20Club%20Show/

What can we say, another beautiful day with friends, food and Z cars !
We think the 2008 Triangle Z Club Fall Show was our best ever, and we hope everyone who attended agrees.
The weather was beautiful Saturday, sunny all day with a high of around 75. We had 48 registered vehicles, and with the cruise in atmosphere that developed due to our larger location at Crossroads Nissan, we counted 65 Z’s in the parking lot at one time.
It was great to get back together with old friends and meet new ones. We had participants from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Maryland.
We had great representation of all generations, and were able to have a class for each model. We had more unique vehicles that stand out than ever before. In no particular order, those that come to mind are an 88 Shiro Z31 with 7,500 miles, a perfectly restored and clean 86 Z31 2+2, both S30 and S130 right hand drive Fairlady Z’s, a 96 Stillen SMZ (I’m told the only silver one built), a convertible 280Z, a Ford V8 powered widebody 280Z, and an awesome Z32 making it’s re-debut after a track accident last year. The rows of ultra clean 240Z’s, Z32’s and Z33’s were almost overwhelming !
All participants received lunch and a show t-shirt as part of registration. Doug Saul’s Barbeque in Nashville provided the barbeque sandwich lunch. We had 25 pounds of barbeque, and we cleaned the container. By the way, the requests for potato salad are duly noted ! The t-shirt and show art was once again done by Allen Smith of the Emerald City Z Club, many people complemented the art saying it was our best ever, and we sold quite a few extra t-shirts to prove it.
Sunday Bain Williams and the Cape Fear Z Club once again hosted the Z Blast pig picking and poker run. My family and I made it down for the pig (imagine that) and hanging out with friends, but missed the poker run. Hopefully someone can write a bit about that experience this year. I saw some video of a kite festival that was something you don’t run in to every day.
Thanks to all our volunteers who helped this year, Stacy, Marty, Kevin, Teresa, Alex, Ryan, April and everyone else I am forgetting, you all made this event run as smooth as possible. Special thanks to everyone who came out, we appreciate you and hope to see all of you and more next year !

Jason,
As usual you guys put on a great show. You also had a great piece of art work designed by Allen on your show shirt again. As for the shirt itself I would love to see you guys put something on the front of the shirt too, like your club logo in the pocket area. I know that would be an extra cost, but it would really make the shirt look nice.
Several of us talked about that after the show last year, but I forgot to mention it to you. I've also discussed it with several people after this year's show. The Tidewater Z Club does a shirt similar to yours in terms of having a color design on the back of the shirt, but they also put the club logo on the front where the pocket would be. It's approximately 4" by 4". I know that cost is a factor, but I think it would improve the look of your shirt to have something on the front too.
