Although I am a maxima guy, I am using mostly 350Z stuff on my car (I have a non revup vq35 and UTEC from a 350z), so when I finish getting the car back together, I'm going to be looking for someone experienced with the UTEC/boosted VQ35s to tune, so here I am on the 350Z forums.
Can anybody reccomend a good place to go? I'm in Greensboro, which is in central NC near winston-salem. Obviously I won't want to drive the car too terribly far untuned once I get it up and running.

if its a blower, you just take the cog belt off and drive where ever. if its a turbo, you just load the Turbonetics map off the Turboxs site and drive to your tuner. With the turbo, you just dont wanna try jumping hard onto boost, although that TN map is very conservative.
I'm sure theres some tuners around, but closest one i've been going to is in Marietta, GA, Forged Performance. ~$500 for 1st tune from scratch.
Otherwise, renting a dyno and tuning the UTEC on your own is pretty straight forward. Just log your AF/timing and adjust accordingly. I just street tuned my car since the UTEC has crap temp compensation. I'll head back to Forged in the spring for a touch up on the dyno.

I am in the same boat. I have a TN kit I just installed and CIN/Performance Factory cant do the car until Dec. Can I just use the TXS TN map? I have 440 CC injectors and the AAM basic fuel return in addition the TN kit

Haha. Yeah I think if I brought it down its going to be on a flatbed. CIN/PF is a little bit closer to me so I am pretty sure that is where my car is going to go. Just waiting to hear back from them.
