28# dressed is a big boy. they had to use a lot of arsenic to get it that big. Arsenic is what they used in the "old days" to grow them quicker. Nice huh?

Mo fo was so big some parts were still a little uncooked after 80 minutes. Thank teh lawd for microwaves...

Thank God you're not in the Iron Chef competition....undercooked poultry can be dangerous....What did you do? Slice the bird at the table and take the individual plates over to the microwave for final cooking?
Kidding, it's tough to time a bird of that size.

Actually I did enter... I just totally forgot about it. Fortunately I was supposed to cook fish.

It's 5 minutes per pound in teh deep fryer........you still had an hour to go.
