Yeah dude, jump on the bandwagon, everyone's doing it!

MsLiLBlackNismo,

Well the problem with most caravans is organization. Ive been with ALOT of them, and the biggest problem is getting someone to lead that has no idea where they are going, or drives like a idiot and starts losing people. Who ever leads needs to pick a lane, wait until everyone forms behind them, and then stay there. Not weaving in between traffic. If we are leaving at noon, we have more than enough time to make it to Miramar. And if we are leaving Miramar at 2:30, that gives us 2 1/2 hours to get into Miami which is WAY more than enough time. We should actually have enough time to eat before the show. The point Im trying to make is the point of a caravan is to have everyone in a line together. Hopefully someone can get rolling shots!

Well I'm hoping someone bring a video camera or two..... It would be nice to have everything on video.... Edwin said that he wants to lead and he is pretty good about not leaving ppl behind... I am going to make a print out to hand out the day of the show, with rules (which I know no one will follow) and with directions in case someone manages to get lost... There is going to be more than enough time to get there, we just have to hope that everyone does stay together and that we arent racing there....

Sounds like you got things under control Amy. I'll try and bring a video camera and my dslr. But the show is usually so dark that unless you have a huge flash, your not going to get anything decent. From what I hear, they have turned the lights on in more areas. I hope so.

Ladies and gentlemen there is an easy fix to all your troubles. Its called a 2 way walkie talkie. You can get them at any Kmart or Wallie World for less than $10 + batteries. Tune them to channell 2, and now we have a mean of communication.

I am trying my best to keep things under control... I have to try and find my video camera, my brother always takes and God only knows where it is... But I am bringing the D40, and that takes some amazing pictures... I'm not too worried about the pictures of HIN, I just want a ton of pictures from the Caravan and the meet the night before, and of course the after parties!!! LOL....

Also, we need to break the caravan into sections no more than 5-6 people untill we hit 95. It takes too long for the rear cars to catch up to the lead car in the streets. if the lead car is going about 50-60 the rear car will be going about 30-40 and will catch every red light. If the caravan is broken into sections, the lead car will be able to set the pace and stop to wait better. SuperStreet Caravaning FTW!

I did the Super Street Nopi Tour in 2005.... Memories.... I think we need two or three leaders/groups but I think we can keep it together as long as we arent racing each other and we arent going through street lights...
