I'm heading to Miami at the end of the month for about a week. I was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions on places to go to and things to eat. I'm looking for things to do to keep me busy for my stay.

I've been there once but didn't have time to explore since I was on a business trip.

South beach ..

 

If you happen to pass by the aventura area check out Sushi House, If you're in the mood for some classy strippers go to Tootsies, there's also a really tight gokart place by commercial blvd (Ft. Lauderdale) called Extreme Indoor Karting, if you go to south beach check out Prive night club or Nikki Beach.

 

What area in Miami are you staying around? And what do you like to do?

Are you looking for day or night activities? Bars/Lounges/Clubs/Strip clubs?

Plenty of things to do during the week, just need to have an idea of where you will be by to give a better suggestion.

 

I will be staying in South Beach

Looking for bars, clubs, restaurants and daytime stuff

 

Well, we have to members in here that work in restaurants at South Beach, one at Larios on the Beach (cuban food) on 8th and Ocean, and another one at Sushi Samba (Lincoln Rd and 6th I believe). Both places are great.
Also if you like Stone Crabs you can go to Joe's Famous Stone Crabs, that's around 11 and Washington)
Good steaks: Prime 112 (112 and Ocean)
Raw bar (oysters/clams/etc): Monty's Raw Bar (300 and Alton Rd)

Clubs/Lounges you have Mansion, Tantra, Prive, be ready to wait in line unless you are buying a bottle or going with a big group of girls.
The hotels on Collins Avenue also have good night-life entertainment, you can go to the Shelborne, Delano, etc.
There is a really chill lounge on 17th and Purdy Ave, called Purdy lounge, usually there's no wait, no cover, it's small, but if you are not a fan of the "clubbing" scene, this is a good alternative.
During the day you can go to the beach, you have Wet ******* on 7th and Ocean I think, for alcoholic frozen drinks, good stuff.
Further down south you have Nikki Beach, good food (a little expensive though), I think Sundays it gets good to hang out.

That's all I can think of the top of my head...

 

Anyone know of a good place to rent a sportbike for a day? A lot of places have 25 age restrictions. I'm 21

Great information...I am going to be in South Beach end of April/first of May for a bachelor party weekend...really stoked about chillin' on the beach and I'm definitely interested in clubs to hit up. The interesting part will be getting one of the guys who only wears Slayer t-shirts and bandannas to pay a $20 or $30 cover and wear a shirt with a collar when we go out, LOL!

I've read good thing about Mansion...and was it Prive that has closed? Should be interesting trying to get into a good place as a group of 4 guys and no girls...we'll see! I'll have the 2 single guys try to find some girls to tag along with us or something :-D

 

I think Prive might have closed, not sure (haven't been there since last year).

But yeah, 4 dudes getting in to a club will be a nightmare unless you are going to buy a bottle.
Best best is to talk to some girls and have them go in with you
