Default Buzzkill warning!

I'll try to make the 18th in Greensboro, too. My baby should be fresh out of the body shop.

At traffic-light intersections without green left-turn arrows it has become common practice lately for people to quickly turn left when the light turns green, before the car coming straight across can enter the intersection. On my way to work Friday morning a yellow Porche Targa pulled that trick in front of me (I almost hit him) and the asleep b*stard behind him followed him into the intersection.

Wham!

As you can imagine, I was real tempted to kill him like a dog on the spot. It was 28-year-old guy, he was mortified that he had damaged that car. While we were waiting for the cop he kept saying "I'm sorry" and all I could say in return was "I know, but that doesn't help".

With Eric's help, I found a good body shop (Autobody America in Cary). His insurance is covering, they should have it from this coming Monday to the following Wednesday. $1800 damage. Eric says I should sue for pain & suffering for having to drive a rental econobox for that long.

I will take extreme care to point out to them as I drop it off that there is not a swirl on that entire car and it didn't have the first parking lot ding in it before that guy hit it.

Lately 350Z's seem to be a target. I have heard from 3 people who have been hit this week alone.

I guess the other people are too busy staring at the car.

Sorry Brian about the car. Crap that sucks!

Miami and 54 interection? That place is notorious for people trying to make a left off the green. I've nearly plowed a few myself. They get this mean look on there faces when I punch it to go straight and make them work for it. Mad like it's MY fault! Sheesh. Some times I wish I had rusted out Ford Galaxy 500. Not really.

Anyways sorry about the car.

Bill
