Default Anybody selling 18" wheels? Tampa

Hello All - - My dealer scraped my front wheels when the rotated the tires for the tire wear TSB. While I'm waiting for them to find me replacements, I'm looking for possibly another set. I currently have the 18" six spoke (performance model).

* * Anybody selling either 18" style wheels and tires? I found a set in Calif. with under 100 miles on them but if I can avoid the shipping problems (possible damage) I'd rather buy from somebody in Florida, preferably the Tampa area. - Thanks

Well, I'm from NC and I'll get rid of my wheels/tires. I know you are trying to avoid shipping costs, but I can meet you half way on that. They are 18's from a touring model, used for about 500 miles, no scratches or anything, excellent condition. If your interested, drop me an e-mail and we can talk.

-Bill

Thanks for the replies - I'm going to wait and try and locate somebody in the Tampa area - - seems the prices are getting a little more reasonable too - a set with tires/wheels (300 miles on them) went for $765 on ebay - - I'm looking for a set of wheels and tires with low miles - - I've seen a repair job, I don't feel the finish will hold up like the oem, my opinion - thanks

Come on Tampa area - somebody mod your brand new Z.

that's an idea but i think i'm going to stay oem for now, the dealere swapped a wheel off of a trade in 350Z they got last week (one wheel was good the other had been curbed) - one down, one to go - - I'm still debating getting another set of wheels, if the right set shows up, low miles, etc I might do it.

I mentioned to the dealer he would have to reset the tire pressure sensors, he said no the computer will recognise the different wheel, then they had some tech. come over with a tool, walked around all four wheels pointing the tool and the sensors?? - - on the way home, no pressure for the right front, what a bunch of professionals - - I guess i'll wait to get the other wheel replaced then work out the sensor thing - Geeessss

Hey Sz28r. I know someone who can help you out with your wheel delimma if you haven't solved it yet. Check out the thread under this same forum"Regional Forum - USA Southeast" titled Tampa BayZ 350Z Club. Yeah thats right. We are starting a 350Z club right here in Tampa. I know that some of the people interested in this club have access to wheels and might be able to help you out. So check out the thread for the details about the meet and show up. Also tell all other 350Z's you might run into about the club. Hope to see you there. I drive a SS "Performance" model and my tag says "Z FACTOR". See Ya!
