Default My new daily...Who wants to race?

So yep I just got home a little while ago from acquiring my new 09' Smart Fortwo Passion Coupe, and let me tell you I'm LOVING IT!!! It drives so smooth and in automatic mode when it changes gears the car feels as if it's a manual transmission car, LOL!!! Now my Supra can finally rest on the weekdays as my Supra will only be taken out on Saturday's. Tomorrow when I wash the Supra, I will take a picture of both the Smart and Supra parked side by side. What a kodak moment. One car having over 800hp, and the other with only 71hp, LOL!!! It has only an 8 gallon tank and can be filled up with a little over $20, and run at an average of around 324 miles before filling her up again...

So who wants to race? LOL!!!

Below are the pics...

I thought you were getting red on red, but the silver looks nice. You know they make rims for those cars.

And yes there are a bunch of wheel makers such as HRE that makes wheels for the Smart...

Just got to www.smartmadness.com and have fun with what you can do with these cars...In the site they even have turbo kits for the car, LOL!!!

Getting into an accident while driving one of those would be my biggest fear

Why do people assume small cars are less safe? Unless you get pinned between a truck and a wall, usually a small car will just move farther when it's hit. Structurally speaking, they can actually be stiffer and stronger, more resistant to actually comprimising the passenger compartment and hurting the occupants. Plenty of small cars have 5 star crash ratings, and most bigger stuff has a harder time getting there.

Congratulations Milton...

Those cars are super cool... people keep talking about safety but that car is way more safer than what people think ... hell, it is safer than motorcycles and how many motorcycles do we see on the street?

I think is a great buy... I wanted to get one but I needed more space and ended up getting the Mazda3 wagon.

Did you see the Scion IQ ?

In UK is out as the Toyota IQ.. http://www.toyota.co.uk/cgi-bin/toyo...?id=MSR_IQ_NEW

Thanks guys for your positive comments...and for those of you with your comments such as saying that the car is a casket for two and if driving a scooter would be safer? I simply LMAO at you guys!!! It got great crash test ratings...and it's not like I'm going to ever be going over 100mph in this car such as bikers that 99% of the time are always doing atleast buck 50 on the highway, and have no protection what so ever around them when in an accident. I just cruise in the Smart and I'm also Smart when driving on the roads with extra careful with this car...And the rest is history...

I've seen videos on youtube where they total the cars and the exterior of the car gets demolished but everything inside the car remains perfectly intact

Congrats Milton on the Smart car. We might be getting the MINI John Cooper Works too after the MB extended warranty runs out.
