Is there anyone in the Miami area that would be willing to do a photoshoot? My buddy Lowell (lgear080) and I have had a few things done recently and we would like to have some updated shots taken. Neither of us have any photographic aptitude whatsoever nor do we have a camera that's worth using. haha


If anyone could help us out or knows anyone it would be much appreciated.

We're in south Miami but we're willing to do a shoot wherever there's a nice backdrop. Do you have any ideas?

I just bought a Nikon D5000 a few months ago. I've been trying to do a photoshoot. My work schedule has really consumed my time.

In the design district there are some really urban artwork on the side of older buildings with modern artwork. Very cool stuff. There's a red backround with a asian boy in a miltary beret with a rifle splashed on the wall. Very cool looking even though I'm sure it's a symbol of communism.

Let me know fellas. My schedule is tight but since it's close by my place I can make it work. Having a clean car is another struggle with our wet summer we've had.

 

I am down. Let's do this... Coordinating is the biggest hassle.
Surely Jes is the lynch (you're married right?) as slick6 and I
have more "open" schedules. We need daylight, and frankly
no garages.

The best time for a shoot is either sunrise or sunset as far as lighting goes. I know that much. So ~6:30PM would be best. Saturday or Sunday would be perfect.

You guys want to do next weekend?

 

Or even this weekend if you any of you guys are free.

I was only able to fart around using iPhoto. I forgot that I have lightroom on my wife's laptop. I should have CS4 on my Mac sometime soon. I really wasn't feeling the lighting with the shots at the last stop. I'm going to play with my camera a little bit more. I really haven't had the time.

Here are some lighting configuration that I though played well into the colors of our car against the cool backdrop we found. I still have the originals if you guys want. Let me know if you guys like.
