^^ yea i was kind of wondering that too, i see a ton of noise in some of these shots. were these night shots on a tripod or handheld? the bridge location is a nice but there is a lot of stuff off to the left in the background, i would either try and different angle to avoid it or PS it out myself later in post. that would be a good place to shoot a car with a really long hood like a ferrari 599 or 575 if you can kind of mimic the lines of the bridge with the flow of the top of the car. the car garage location does nothing for the bmw and it also overpowers the mr2 in the first shot as well imo. i found myself looking at all the complex lines above the mr2 instead of what was supposed to be the topic

this is obviously a community that doesnt offer quality people and it was my mistake for ever coming here and offering anything

that's great if you are trying to be different but there's a reason that great automotive photography looks like it does. because that's what everyone likes. learn how to shoot it first to expand your horizons in photography. just because a "client" chooses a location doesn't necessarily mean you have to shoot there. you could suggest a different location that is more attractive and complimentary to the vehicle. so what if you were trying to shoot to show off the "wing" on the 135, if the location looks like @$$ the car will too which will reflect negatively on the picture and the product. a nice clean dark red brick wall with a clean parking lot in front of it would look good to reshoot the 135 at imo. try to make sure you can see the rear of the car in all shots if that is what you are "shooting" for. also, if you don't have a tripod, get one, that way you can shoot this stuff at ISO 100 or whatever is your lowest at a slow shutter speed. it will help with the noise. again, not trying to be a ***** about it, just my .02

Use Youtube or something and learn what to do with your Adobe Photoshop CS3 with RAW pictures... dont just use it to put your embarrassing watermark on. I know you didn't pay a cent for that.

see the reason why i dnt even bother with comments like these is because they come up so rarely that i have no reason to change anything in the way i do things, thanks for the advice but i dnt need it. and BTW a red brick wall in miami isnt exaclty a common occurance. when i get critisism from people that i respect and admire as automotive photographers i can apprecaite it but when its nothing but someone i dnt know belittling my pictures i feel it has no merit
i wouldn't do that either

who on earth would ever shoot anything in ISO 1600??? If your light is low, lower the shutter speed!!! lower shutter speed = tripod!! Any amateur photographer knows that! Are you shooting with the kit lens? I bet you dont shoot in RAW right? I have D60 and i can shoot much better photo than you... this is why everyone hating on Nikon because newbie like you give it a bad name.

dont go around making assumptions of people you dont know and dont try to act like your all high and mighty. i have never met this much disrespect from people on a forum and it says very little about the caliber of person on here
dont start making assumptions about **** you dont know about... for one im not a ****n noob, granted i have an entry level camera. i shoot in raw and have been for a long time. if you can shoot better photos than thats great for you but ive made plenty of money doing what i do sfn obviously people like what they see if they (1) pay me (2) recommend me to others...

He had great advice I think and I know I'm a amateur photographer but you being mister all high and mighty cannot take that advice and use it because he is not a "professional".
But hey you keep doing your thing I am sure I will see your pictures in magazines soon

i read your blog post iamhollywood, i hope your comments were not directed at me. i only tried to be polite and give positive criticism. there are a LOT of really good photographers on this site. a lot of them with better equipment than you are using (which helps) and a working understanding of what to do when shooting pics of a car (which helps more). if you cannot take these comments on how to improve what you have above, you are in the wrong "business". good luck to you in your future endeavors
I love how when a few people critique him negatively, he disses the entire community for it, regrets coming here and withdraws his offer. REALLY professional. I hope IAMHOLLYWOODphotography is not a business. I just don't understand people that have e-arguments. Its so pointless. Just blow them off if you don't like what they have to say. You'll look like the bigger person. I do like the Honda with the long bridge in the background though. I like those purple lights!
