miami IAMHOLLYWOODphotography photo shoots!!!
#5, looking at it closer it does look in focus but it didn't the first time, not sure why. what were your settings for that shot? one thing i'm noticing is something i did when i first started shooting which was to use the smallest aperture possible so that i felt like i could get more detail out of my shots. this really isn't needed in most cases. most people like shots that are tighter in on the subject (the cars in this case) with good separation of the topic from the background by using a lower f-stop # to make the background turn to bokeh. when shooting a car i hardly ever use anything above f/5.6. landscapes are different but most photography will do fine at f/4 or lower if possible
edit: this is an example of what i'm talking about, one of my fav shots of Sharif's GTR:

that was shot 200mm @ f/4, the car is in perfect focus and is obviously the topic because nothing else is in focus. granted this is a little different when you are in an urban environment but keep in mind the background needs to compliment the car if it's in focus, otherwise leave it out of focus imo

same pics? did you just changed out the watermark tag lol? It is way too big for the pics. Very obstructing and distracting from the main content of each pictures. Keep it small and simple.
i would believe me and i used to but i found a handful of my pictures being used on others websites n such
Looks like you love some HDR, and I like that. One thing I must say though is that if people are paying you to shoot their cars, you may want to make sure that you are not in the picture. Second one down on the MR2, I can see you! lol Other than that, I would use more exposures to make sure you get the sky better, most of your sky's with the mr2 are washed out big time. I am not trying to be a dick, I don't feel a need to bring someone down that enjoys photography as much as I do. Just some friendly criticism here. And I too would have to agree about the watermark size, it does draw my attention away from the subject being so big. What equipment are you using?

Thanks for the kind words. yea i have to say that i do like HDR and have trouble getting myself out of my photos... but some angles are difficult especially with black cars. the skys all got really really gray and black so i avoided the HDR skys and just merged in the sky from a single exposure - sometimes you have to roll with the punches and improvise. im using a D40x 18-135mm, 50mm 1.8, and sb-600
An example of a shot I did a long time ago.

I admit its not my best, but it shows how HDR can capture sky's very well with enough exposures. I believe I used 5 in this one. -2,-1,0,1,2. Also, what program's are you using for processing?
