It will be the last import event of 03. I will be there in my slow automatic maxima. I would like to see some Z guys show up but Im tired of seeing 14.5's @ 95 when they do show. The car should be good for 13.8-14.0 @ 100-101 bone stock 6 spd. After all I have seen a auto g35c run a 14.2 @ 98 which weighs more and has taller gearing. Come on out guys I should give you a run for your money.

this I know but I can't do anything about it. I am just trying to get a group together. Did you ever get your car fixed? The Raleigh maxima guys told me what happened...

 

No I know, I'm not blaming you lol It's just that we have bad luck going there, everytime it rains, and I hear the conditions at Fayeteville are better anyway, but it's always fun to go to the Rock, I might show up if the raleigh Max guys go.

Car will be on the road this weekend, or next Saturday at the latest, depending on if my engine gets here by Friday. I want to run it so hopefully by Fri I'll have it. We'll see.

i saw a 350z bone stock run 14.1 one time at the rock

 

I may try to make it. Hopefully it'll still be warm. The last time I was there it was in the spring and it was like 50 degrees.

 

Hey M3racer you like in Wilmington? My mom and dad live there too. I'll be there the weekend of turkeyday. I'd love to see your car.

 

A Few from Triangle Z may show up as well.

Engine will be here anyday now, but not sure if it will be back on the road by next weekend, I am quite busy with work and can't take a day off to do the swap , so next Friday night and Saturday will have to be when I do the swap and reinstall the SC, so I don't know if I can get it all done and tuned by then I'll keep my fingers crossed and see what I can do.

Can't make this one... Friday the 28th, the Charlotte Z club is hitting Charlotte Motor Speedway to do some laps. Gonna head there and see if I can hit the speed limiter! WOOHOOO!!!!!

 

Its my first time posting here. Me and my friends went to the track today and I saw several 350Z ran. The time ranging from 13.6 to 14.2 or more. the 13.6 was from a black Z with the stillen charger. Good track condition, cool weather was observed. I did not run my 00 Celica GT-S, but a friend of my bud ran his 03 Evo to the his best of 12.7 at 101mph. Nice to see the new Z getting more popular now.

 

13.6 with the Stillen SC?
I guess the track isn't the best hooking one, so he'd probably be a little quicker over at Fayetteville.

BTW I ran a new best 12.9 @ 106.8 Sunday

I met a few 350z guys at the track but I dont know if they ar eon the boards. I have also ran that stillen charged 350 on the street and we split 1-1 on the two good runs. He was trapping 107 so its not a car to frown upon.

Anyway I plan to get to fayetteville soon and make a few passes. Hopefully I will have better than 800psi bottle pressure and have a better time hooking. My 60' on the 12 run was a crappy 2.04 which I can do on street tires on slicks.

With 1000psi and better traction I should be good for 12.6's at around 108ish...can't wait
