The second event of the 2011 NASA calendar is the second weekend of March at HMS. For those not familiar with NASA, they put on a great event with everything from HPDE to Time Trials to W2W Racing.

The HPDE program is for everyone, with levels 1-4 depending on your skill level and experience. From there, you can begin Time Trials, racing against the clock in a class of similarly competitive car. Finally, there is W2W racing, which has classes for any car! A NASA competition license is required, though other licenses are accepted such as SCCA, after your credentials are reviewed.

If you have never run your car on the track, or have never run with NASA, it is worth trying it. It is a safe and competitive bunch of drivers who all share the same goal of bringing their car home in the same condition it arrived at the track in.

For the March event, the fees are as follows:

HPDE 1 (w/ Instructor) - 2 Days - $399
HPDE 2-4 - 2 Days - $399
Time Trials - $399
W2W Racing - $299
