I'm going to check with work and see if I can take that Friday off to drive down. If anyone has a floor/couch that I can crash on, let me know. Gas for 10 hours each way plus 2 nights in a hotel may be a little more than my wife would let me get away with this close to Christmas.

Canceling the timed run was lame. Turned it into a rice run. I don't care what any of you say, 95mph in a residential neighborhood is not cool. I was hoping this would be a little more than just a luck thing too, but it is what it is.
Anyways, to all that helped out with setting up the run, GOOD JOB
Big props to the organizers who worked so hard and did a great job!! I thoroughly enjoyed myself - saw some great cars, had fun driving the course, met lots of nice people, won a stupid prize (my fault
), helped a charity, and also got some great technical advice. Putting on an event like this can't be easy - and it's impossible to control what everybody does. Thanks Tampa team!

It's was pretty clearly stated that spending is not condoned, and there were no residential neighbor hoods that we went through. Yes there were a few areas you had to drive through that had 35 mph speed limits, but this is the Tampa Bay area, not BFE. You also can not pin a few bad apples on the entire z club of florida. The few that were driving like idiots were not members, just z and g ISHT heads that make the z scene ricer. Also I would like to see anyone run the the z club for absolutely no profit, on top of their full time jobs. I did not help with the run, but I do appreciate the volunteers that did. On another note don't be a sore loser, its a raffle. LMFAO

I wasn't being a sore loser, I didn't even participate in the raffle. I was looking forward to a timed event though, over the standard poker run. It was still fun, saw a ton of nice cars, but the timed event would have kept people in check. I don't care how back woods it is, if there's a mailbox, that's somebody's home. When people are coming are coming around blind corners at 50-70mph, it's not safe. I saw a few bikers almost get taken out in what you would consider BFE.
Nobody is approving the use of speed. The Run is designed so as NOT to encourage speeding. The fastest times are NOT rewarded.
Stop trashing this event on the forums. Go away.
