I can't find an auto shop to do an engine swap in my daily driver. I got screwed over the past 4 months by a mechanic who said he could do it, then ended up doing nothing, his shop went out of business, and I'm in the process today of getting my Benz towed out of his backyard to a shop somewhere.
I had one person refer me to Larry's Auto Repair, and they said it would be no problem. I want to have a look at a few places before I commit to this again. I've already been screwed out of $800 and 4 months; I don't want the same thing happening twice. I'm really in a bind here, and want my Benz up and running again ASAP.
I have the 3.2liter DOHC M104 Mercedes engine, wiring harness and cpu's to replace the old 2.6liter SOHC m103 engine. Its the same short block, with different heads. Physically matches up to the car at the same points. This is going in my 1993 Mercedes 190e.
Anyone help plz!?

There is a really good one in Panama City. I havent used him personally but heard really good stuff. Smith Motorworks. I love driving by there. Built 240's, 300's, 350's, 911's, NSX, Ferrari's, Lambo's, Benz, Bimmers, Lotus, anything performance they will touch.
