Greenville,SC / Spartanburg, SC locals ----
Shes in progress still. They are doing some really cool stuff for the air control on the front. Bobby has me contemplating in the twin pump setup. After seeing the OEM bucket i can see it as weak point.
Dropped off a few parts and snapped a few pics. Shes dusty but once the engine bay is completed and cleaned up its gonna be sweet.
Congrats on the Haltech full standalone! When is your motor due back? If you have widebands and a boost gauge I would suggest integrating them into the haltech (some year z's already had widebands from factory)
You have any pics of your throttle body coupler? They want to use the same one on my intake since its tight.
I just stopped in to drop parts off and ended up being there for like 2 hrs! Great shop, very open and detailed.
You see the TT M56 they have...friggin nasty.

Yeah that stock bucket is constrictive as hell with that filter in there. I talked to bobby tonight about some things and he said you stopped by. He mentioned the air stuff a little bit.
Not really sure how far out my block is, they got the pistons and fluid dampr is making a pulley with a custom 2nd keyway for us. They said they started on the block so hopefully its not much longer. Sorry no pics of that throttle body/coupler. Yeah im always up there atleast a couple hours just hangin out.
Great guys, they let me come in and wrench on the z when ever I want. Just to give them a call first so they can move some cars around. I think I got a pretty good deal on the haltech. My z didn't come with the factory wide bands, but its all gonna work out great.
I might stop by with Tuan tomorrow when he comes out for those sensors.

come on by.
here's a pic of the air control fab. just the mock up. They were cutting the aluminum today.

yeah when I had my stock block vortech and an aluminum pulley with steel insert it still messed up the keyway on the pulley. was a ***** to remove.
yeah I could spend all day up there.
yeah the stock bucket wasn't built for 2x the power...you could run a -10an feed but the small holes in the bucket limit flow. and when a pump is rated it is typically at 0 psi and then higher pressures. In order to get 50 psi at the rails it has to overcome everything else to get there.
yeah 03 here so I have 6 o2 sensors. I integrated my boost gauge into the haltech so what I see on the gauge is the same as what the hatch sees.
Cin has done so many small touches and things that don't show on the invoice...great shop.

Yeah I know, I got a free oil cooler cause it was "part of the build", lol. def great guys...I even ended up getting a free plenum spacer cause of a small mix up..that mock up looks pretty bad a$$. Cant wait to see how it comes out. Well anyways, I'll more than likely see you tomorrow. Next time I get up there, I'll be sure to grab some more pics for you. :I"ll prolly be back up before you since Im just waiting for the haltech and my sweet new nismo ****, lol

You guys should come to Columbia for a large April 5th meet. Going to have cars coming in from the surrounding 3 stats. closing off a side street, will be food and vendors. So far about 500 cars are expected.

Thank god it was only 2.5 hours away but it was fun to just get out of town and chill. That's a badass camera there and I will yack every time I see pizza now.
