I just wanted to pass the word along to the Z and G owners here in the area. Carolinanissans will be having a little get-together Saturday afternoon at 1pm, April 17th at Urbanimport in Durham. This is in honor of CarolinaNissans's one year anniversary and Urbanimport's grand opening.

We are expecting 10-20 local people- Carolinanissans is still pretty small by most standards. Mostly 240SX, Sentra, and Altima folks. We are a performance oriented group, so don't expect alot of show cars. I'd probably be the biggest ricer with my Sunburst Spec-V. Why am I posting this here you ask? I recently conducted a poll asking the members what kind of cars they'd like to see more of. To no one's surprise, the 350Z won out.

We are planning to cookout some burgers and hotdogs. Some of the Urbanimport staff will be around for parts sales and perhaps installs. Later on for people still hanging out, we may break out the project for some Best Motoring DVDs or movies. Later we might just cruise around or go get some more foooowd.

Yeah, thats about right . I was just up in Richmond last weekend for the drift event at the Cloverleaf mall. Stopped briefly in Petersburg and clocked about 2 hours for the rest of the drive home.

 

man i forgot about the drifting event til halfway through the day so i didnt go....i was so pissed!
