nope...i just now figured how to take the middle console off i am to scared to touch the other parts

yes where is eric located? I can be in raleigh on the 27 or next day...lets me know...meeting place..what not..i do want to try out ON the border in Cary good mexican place besides chicos if you guys want to meet for food also


ravaz you have to take it off to use a grip wrench to hold the bottom so it will twist..dont know how to explain..i have seen pics

i think we just need 2 locking wrenchs...i dont know the correct term for them and some clothes....

 

i promise you dont need two wrenches, or to remove the console. all you need to do is screw off the stock **** (which does take some elbow grease). i know the instructions that come with the nismo ***** tell you to hold the shifter while you unscrew the ****, but you dont have to. the serivce manual makes no mention of doing such a thing. all it says is "loosen the shift ****". you may be able to do it with your hands, which is how i did mine. just grab with both hands and turn counterclockwise. once the thread sealer gives way, it comes off real easy. then just screw the new one on.
