<<<shakes head, big rich called me today and told me about this. My mind is still not processing the fact that he's gone.

The very very first OZOC meet that I came to, kevin was the first person to come up to me and talk to me, he showed me his car and explained some of the basic mods that you could make to a 350Z.

I called my friend in lakeland today who drives a civic and also knows kevin. He was in shock as well. Apparently the funeral is maybe supposed to be on friday according to what my friends club president has been told.

 

he didn't have any kids IIRC, but was divorced (recently, too).

I can't make it tonight. Really wish I could though. Drink one for me in his honor.

 

Wow. Cant believe this. Kevin was such a nice guy. Welcomed me right away. He talked to me when I was at the track for the first time and wished me luck. I almost went out to the road track in Gainesville, we were gonna go the next time together,talked to him at the OZOC picnic. Can't believe this.

omg, ..when i first logged into that other website i think it was 350zclubofflorida that was one of the first dudes to talk to a brotha...wow man i met him at the meets aswell. Wow....i even have pms with him about his brake setup. wow like im really...blown away by this...say it isnt so man. im so pissed man the Guy was cool.

Here we are the MJ Barleyhoppers tonight having a drink and a good meal in honor of Kevin's memory.

We were all discussing tonight about whether or not to bring our Z's to the funeral and agreed that Kevin would have it no other way than to have a HUGE caravan of Z's and G's pull up to the funeral procession. I feel it would bring a smile to his face watching from above...

 

i second the idea of the Zs at the funeral i mean he loved the car and why not ya know always good to show respect for a fallen friend. Just ask the parents if thats okay because how they view that is very important . Im still in denial man...the only thing i could find on a car accident meeting the description was this.

+1 on the caravan..but def. that family should give us the ok. We don't know how they feel personally about the issue. I agree, if Kev was to give the go right now...he would've already..but it's his fams choice now.

the more this plays out the more I'm thinking there might end up being vehicular manslaughter charges involved if they find the other vehicle.

I had a good meal and couple beers last night in Kevins honor.

Today would have been his 31st birthday.

i doubt there gonna find the other car since theres but so much evidence u can find when the other car has no damage and basically continued on. But i hope they do really.It would shed alot of light on this topic. Speculation to what actually happend is horrid. But when i look at the reports...its just crazy to think it went down like that, .especially since kevin wasnt a small guy. Godbless him man, hopefully hes in peace now. Im afraid to even see pics of the wreck if they ever give the okay to the press.

Thisis just crazy, 2 days before his birthday. I hope they find that guy in the charger! Does anyone have any leads on the funeral. It should be within a couple of days? Was he in the military ever? If so I can arange for military honors to take place.
