Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I will be hosting a car show for a charity event sometime around the 2nd or 3rd week in march. This is for a Business Class at UCF.

Basically we have to participate in some sort of charity function. As a group we decided on New Hope for Kids. For those that are not aware of what it is. It is basically the exact same thing as Make a wish Foundation.

I plan to make this a pretty large event if all goes well. I will need lots of support from local people in the community to make this happen. I will be beating the streets starting this week.

Here is the situation, We have been assigned a 9 year old boy named Jonathan, He has a couple of conditions that are fairly severe, His conditions are Hemiplegia which is a form of cerebral palsy, he also has Hemiparesis which is paralysis of one side of the body.

I will be meeting with the foundation and the client this week hopefully to get more info and to see what the family is willing to allow their son to participate in.

THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN PEOPLE!

If I could get the support of those in the club to participate in this event, I would truly appreciate it!

Rich has already said he would support in any way possible. I will get more details as things progress.

If anyone has any ideas that would help me or know any great contacts that would make this event even better (i.e. Sponsors, donations for raffles, ect), please, hit me up. I can use all the help I can get.

Stephen do you have a exact target date set?
Reason I ask is because in March we have the Funk Master Flex Car & Bike show on the 15th & Spring Break Nationals on the 29th-30th

 

Well based on that I guess I will have to focus on 22 March being the date. I have drill the weekend before that so I wont be able to attend that FMF.

I will set things up for that date. It will have to be that date or the first weekend in the month. I want to give myself as much time as possible to allow plenty of promotion time to raise lots of money.
