Different folks, different strokes on whats better for the trans.

A/T has more consistent and at a certain speed point, better times in the 1/4mile from what Ive seen. M/T is my personal choice, I like more interaction with the car since I prefer road racing and autocrossing with mine and the autos 1/2/3 gears are spaced too far apart.

You got that right. I drive an AT with a few engine upgrades, no turbo or sc, and I really enjoy the ride without having to push a clutch. I always use the "tiptronic" or however is called, so I kind of drive a semi-mt.

 

my first car was an auto, then about 6 months later i bought a MT and i havent changed back since . i love my 6MT. altho it is a pain in the *** in traffic lol

 

I didnt know u had a AT... You should do the paddle shifter mod that the FX guys do. It's pretty tight

 

alrighty...just so I got my sh*t straight..we meet at 8 tonight at TGIF on 50...

 

 

It's official now. I'll be at HIN. BTW... anyone going to the Lollycup gathering today? It starts at 3:00 p.m. till.... I just found out about it. It's kind of a car club meet. It will be at the Lollycup on 436 / University Blvd intersection (Winter Park) next to the Chinese Rest.

Glad I had a chance to get out to my first meet last night. Sorry I didnt get a chance to meet everyone...I figured I would meet 4 people at a time since thats the amount my brain will allow me to remember at a time. I'll introduce myself to two other tables next time

I kept myself busy swimming laps at the end table in the huge a$$ puddle next to the stairs.

 

well I am now the proud owner of that Z I posted up earlier. Just gotta go pick her up next weekend b/c I have to get my loan finalized. Love the exhuast sounds like a supra. can't wait to get her home! This is going to be the longest week ever!!!

 

I went out to the autocross in Tavares yesterday, I can't wait to bring my car up there, looked like a blast!

I think Juan said he was going to try to go. We went to one of the Lollicup meets about a year ago and there was a pretty good turnout. Maybe we could get OZOC to do a lunch meet somewhere and put in an appearance next time they have one.
