I,m regreting not going with you Rich, I came home and everyone was asleep.

 

Yesterday on my way to eat dinner with the rest of FGC, as I was backing out of my driveway I heard a loud POP! I got out of my G and the back wheel was on the rim. I spent the better part of this morning at Racing Zone talking with Doug while getting a new tire installed.

With no car and the cold weather only 2 FGC people decided to head out to the track. One was an auto and he ran three 14.2's and a stick ran a 14.3 (best run). Looks like it was a really good night for running.

If I can keep all 4 wheels inflated we're probably heading back out next Friday. I won't know for sure until Friday afternoon because I'm having an outpatient surgery done that morning.

Nice job on smokin the SRT-4 Rich! I'm gonna try real hard to get off on next Fri. Hopefully we won't have any events going on @ the hotel.

Yes, I have rasp. I think it's more everything combine(headers,testpipes,exhaust) than just the test pipes. I'm gonna try the resonated ones and see if makes a difference.

 

Let me hear it this weekend if you're coming saturday.

The city of Daytona informed us this week that our permits (along with the permits of many other spring break promoters) will not be approved this year. Yep, we are as mad as you are. Just like years’ past, we followed every rule, filed every permit. It isn’t Showoff Cafe’s fault. It's not the Plaza's fault, or Super Street's either. It is the city of Daytona Beach; we did our best to find another venue close to the Plaza Resort and Spa but were denied permits for those locations as well. Daytona Beach doesn’t want Spring Breakers around anymore.
