Anyone interested in hitting up the road course event at Central Florida Racing Complex? It's February 28, $100.

I've never done it... and I'm not sure if they expanded their course or not, but I'm sure it's still fun.

 

A couple of us are planning on going.

 

Used to a be an okay inexpensive road course but not so sure since the revisions, a lot of issues on their re-opening event. Make sure you aren't running stock brake fluid cause its gonna boil after about 10-12 laps.

 

Damn thanks for the heads up on the brake fluid, I always assumed the Z was track ready...what type of brake fluid should I get?

Anything else I should be aware of?

Track brembos might be okay but the stock Z brakes suck it hard out on a road course. I'm using Motul RBF600 now.

My first time out to CFRC my brake pedal went to the floor and I had to spin out to stop because the fluid was boiling. Rotors smoking like crazy too. Not to mention the car has brand new pads/rotors. Just be aware of the track conditions and safety measures management there may or may NOT use. Maybe things have changed though

Motul is ok, if your gonna seriously track your car often just pony up for the Castrol SRF.

 

ahhhh I just bought Brian Crower stg II cams, ACL main bearings, and ARP main studs. All I need now for the motor build is pistons, fuel return, nismo therm, and up-rev oil pump.

My mastercard is crying...
