We have monthly meets at Nissan of Brandon, weekly meets held around town, and we try to have Official Club Meets once a month that include tech sessions, go karting, bowling, night cruises, and more.

Hey guys, I'm going to florida for a week during Christmas for a family trip. We are planning on spending a few days at Disney World, but no other plans really. Just wanted to ask the locals on what's good for family!

My cousin is in training at Disney so she can give us discounted tickets, even hotel. But I think Disney hotels are still a lot more expensive. Do you guys have any recommended place to stay that's cheaper and not too far from Disney.

Lastly, I'm in LA. Is there a cruise to Florida? and are they good in winter?

anyways, hotels around that time are gonna be pretty pricey so i'd book the rooms as early as possible to secure a good rate. If you have AAA, use it and see what kinda discounts you can get.

As for hotels, before i lived in florida, when we would visit disney/universal, my family would try to hit up those small time motels in the kissimmee area that are close enough that offer free shuttle service to and from the park. That way you dont waste money on parking, and are pretty much guarateed that its not that far.

Im sure some other guys have some info for you but thats all that i got. Im a sucker for free rides, esp after a day of walking around the entire park... gets tiring.

oh yeah... bring some super cheap dollar ponchos from a drug store. You dont want to be stuck paying 10 bucks for a poncho at the park if it happens to rain.

We'll be renting a car when we reach Florida. This way we can visit other places around. I'll be sure to get raincoats n stuff.

my parents really wants a cruise if its not too expensive. But wouldn't it be a super long route to Florida from LA?

 

yeah i dont even know they offer a cruise. You'd need to sail down the coast, go thruough the canal into the gulf, then dock somewhere in tampa im guessing. seems like a long trip. i'd look into extended your trip to florida, then making a separate cruise that docks and returns to the same location. (like a casino cruise or something, check carnival)

Also, just to be clear, cheap motels, i was referring to howard johnson, motel 6, holiday inn, etc.

i think you're talking about nick if i am not mistaken, hes got an SER with a nissan quest 3.5 block, on his 3rd tranny (i think) and runs nitrous.

He doesnt really come out much.. Ive only ever seen him come out to ONE meet in the past 2 years.
