We should probably come up with a strategy for meeting up. I think most of us recognize the others from the track days. How should we organize getting a table, etc? I don't know what the parking lot looks like, perhaps we can park together, but it might be too crowded to pull that off.

Haven’t been online for a while and just saw this...

I should probably be able to make it, would give me a better opportunity to put names / handles with faces..

Usually at a meet like this, we're able to park in the far reaches of the parking lot, and thus get all of the Zs lined up together and spend some time outside talking while waiting a while for everyone to show. If I remember correctly from last year when we met at this location, there's quite a bit of room towards the northeast end of the parking lot for this.

Obviously, if the lot is too crowded to park together or the weather is too cold to wait outside, then we'll have to meet inside, where the first few of us who show can grab a table that's large enough for the group (looks like about 15, give or take a few.) I think we've only got 1 or 2 who have posted here who are really new to the group and won't have anyone to recognize...for something like that I would suggest trying to show up a little early to try and meet in the lot as the Zs show up.

Also, since it seems like we'll have a pretty large turnout for this, we'll probably end up with a large table (either in the restaraunt or the bar) with some extra room, and there probably won't be that many large groups inside that look as diverse as ours! We can also leave word with the hostess at the door to send anyone looking for the 350Z group to our table.

I think this should be sufficient planning for getting the group together at the restaurant, but if anyone wants more detail we can probably flesh this out a little more.

I'll see everyone on Wednesday!

Works for me, although I'm not sure if I plan on driving the Z. I really can't stand to get the front of the car all chewed up by the rocks CODOT spreads all over the roads in the winter.

Gary, I tried to say the same thing you said but I couldn't get it to come out right. As always, you seem to have a handle on things. I need to ask you some questions concerning your brake setup and to get some ideas for some suspension upgrades so get your thinking cap warmed up. See all you guys on Weds.

Okay, I'll be ready and I'll be happy to help. It's always fun to spend someone else's money! See you on Wednesday.

LOL!!! I guess I should add that spending someone else's money is only fun if that money actually exists. In Craig's case, I'm sure that it does...in my case, the only turbo that I could afford right now would look suspiciously like a pinwheel mounted inside of a coffee can!

Well, unfortunately, my unending stream of work has pretty much dictated that I won't be able to make it tomorrow night. I have a design due Monday, Dec 13, and there are just too many details I need to work on (and not nearly enough time).

Depending on when I get off of work, I might be able to drop by late, but it might not be until around 9pm. I don't know if you guys will even still be there at that time.

Gary, maybe I could give you a call when I get out of work and see if you guys are still at Potts. Can you PM me a number where I can reach you?

Matt

It was a good turn out and it was good to see everyone and meet a couple new people. I'm sure that this group could have talked all night about the Zs, racing, hamburgers, and anything else.

I really didn't get a chance to talk to Gary M or Craig this time. Also it seems that we were missing a couple of the regulars. Which proves that we all that to get together more often. Or at least so C5demon doesn't make fun of us anymore, hee hee J/K.

Sorry I missed it. I left work at 9pm, and apparently you guys had just paid the bill.

Hopefully the insanity here at work will subside in the coming weeks and I can join in the fun. I'm really getting tired of the 12-13 hour days.

David, sorry we didn't get a chance to talk. Your right, we need to get together some more. I talked to Gary about arranging some time at 2nd Creek over the holidays. A lot depends on the weather but I hope to get some time, either weekend or weekday and wear out some brake pads. Maybe we'll have some fun and drink a beer or two afterward.

I agree with everyone else - that was a lot of fun, and one of our most well-attended meets yet. Like David already pointed out, the only downside was not having the time to talk to everyone. Guess we'll just have to do it again soon!

Default NOT AGAIN

Sorry I missed the fun again. As I said to Joe in PM, fun was once again torpedoed by work. With all my play-time, I sometimes need to put in the hours. Art and Dave monitor my comments and will surely rag on me if I don't stay the course (occasionally).

Next time hopefully.

Happy Holidays everyone.

Bob

We had a ton of fun hanging out with you guys!

I'm trying to match people with their avatars/cars and two people posted up saying they had a great time and I didn't get to meet them.

I wanted to see Juztin's car and ask you about your mods to reach 260+ and I didn't see the blue convert either.

Did you guys show up after I left? (8:30pm)

I hate it that we had to leave early, but you know how it is with co-ed volleyball.
