Who's in Vegas?
We (some G35 drivers) are putting together a group for weekly meets in Vegas.
All 350Z drivers are welcome to come out and show off. So if you want to come out and throw a few brews back or just hang with some like minded drivers let us know.

Cool man. We may be meeting this Sunday over at Sunset Station, probably hit Hooters and grab some wings. We haven't locked it down yet though.
The following Friday 25th some us are probably going to do a track night out at the raceway.
I'll keep you updated.

This sounds like a good idea. I will not be able to make it sunday because I will be driving back from the Sin City Z Club group drive and meet in Havasu. I will be at the track on the 25th though. Also, there is a big group of car guys that go to Buffalo Wild Wings every wednesday at 7:30pm. They are mostly S2000 guys and IS300 guys, but anybody is welcome. I will try and remember to start posting the weekley thread about where to meet for these if I can remember.
Wont be able to come, gotta drive down LA to meet up with Jason from Perf Nissan... gonna have the nismo exhaust and JWT popcharger installed... woohoOo~ Anyway... know any good autobody shop here in Vegas? We should make a list of the best in vegas. Like the best dealer, autobody, car wash for lowered car and so on. I hope to meet with you guys on the next meet.

Just got my G out of the shop... WOOHOO! But found some problems with the bodywork so it's going back in. But that's not until next week.
So in the mean time, anyone going to run at Mayhem tomorrow?

I am planning on going to that, and a couple of the guys from 350zmotoring.com are planning on going. Oh and my buddy with his newly supercharged Z (VegasSAEZ). That is of course if the rain lets up early enough that they can dry the track. Coincidentally all of our Zs are silver so I don't really think that we will have any trouble finding eachother.
Cool, I'll be on the lookout for you guys. I've never seen a SC'd Z run, that ought to be pretty cool. I'll be in a white G coupe. Hopefully at least 4 or 5 of us will show.
Unfortunately it looks like my Crawford goodies are not going to be here by tomorrow, but oh well.

Ok its 6:10pm now and according to www.lvmsstrip.com there is a light rain at the track right now. So be prepared to get sent home early. Hopefully it goes away in the next few hours and doesn't come back. See you there.
Well after the rain delay I managed to run a crappy 15.174, but that's not too bad considering the SRT-4 that I was up against only ran a 14.87.
That was a lot of fun though, till next time.

My best run was a 14.634 @ 97.58mph which was worse than I expected. I knew that the elevation of Vegas would make the Z run slower than the 14.3s it is supposed to run stock, but not that much difference. Mine isn't stock either. I have an Injen CAI and a Kinetix V4 Plenum. I think that I would have to do a perfect run to get in the 14.3 range. Oh well. Next time I should have my exhaust and cats on, maybe that will make me feel better. Good to see everybody out there.
Interesting info...
Las nights barometric pressure was 29.96
Temp about 54
Humidity 87%
Elevation of the raceway approximately 2000ft
Given these numbers you get a relative horsepower to rated factor of .958.
If I apply this to my 15.17sec time I get about 14.53 which is much more inline with what an automatic G should be able to do.
Apply that to your time and you get about 14.02.

Yea, I didnt do as well as I did at the last MM. But I only got in 2 runs last night. I was just tired of waiting, there were wayyy to many cars. It took 3 hours to do 2 runs. My first run was a 15.2 and my second run I missed 3rd so you can just guess what that one was.
