AZ Z owners and NASA
So I went to my first NASA event at PIR this past weekend to check it out (didn't drive). It was a really good time. I've been brought up with SCCA so I didn't know what to expect really. Professional and lots of cars tracking, really good atmosphere as well. I didn't see any Z's however, except for a couple guys in Comp classes with 240's. I plan on taking my car out in Sept at the next event (Arizona Motorsports Park) when the summer break is over. It would be great to see a few other 350z's out there with me.

Phoenix Area. Usually at Firebird Raceway Road Course, PIR Infield Course and I guess they're re-opening Arizona Motorpsorts Park out by Luke AFB. I was told the next event will be held there in Sept, but it hasn't been confirmed.
Well, if it wasn't so blazing hot I might have been there! I've been a NASA member since last July, been to 4 events since then. Great time, good instruction, lots of fun. See ya in Oct. or Nov. BTW, AMP is shutdown unless something has recently changed.
I know, it's been shut down for a while, however many of the NASA guys were saying an agreement was made and it's being re-opened. I was just as surprised when I heard the news. I guess we'll have until Sept. and see. I was told that's when/where the next event will be.
