Default Colorado Z meet Sat July 23rd

Hey guys if anyone is interested I was going to try andd set up another meet at Clement park for Saturday July 23rd. The last one was a low turnout but it was cold as hell. I was plan on meeting in the parking lot near the entrance off pierce north/east from the tennis courts by the soccer fields. Hopefully it will be alot of fun and that should give me time to get the suspension and wheels on my Z. I'm gonna try and round up a few small prizes for some contest hopefully I can get a dealership to donate a few things. Anyways pm me or just sign up here so I can get a headcount.

I hate to burst your bubble, but did you know that the ZCCC is having a club track meet at the State Trooper's Track in Golden, CO on that very same day?

I'd love to attend as I missed the last one but, as Don said, that is track day at CHP. I'll be there with my new brakes and tires.

Damn I always pick the bad weeks. Maybe the week after sat the 30th would work if no events are going on.

Is this a drive through the mountains or just hanging out? I know me and another guy here from Cheyenne would definetly show up for a drive through the mountains again.

I can't make either of those dates as I will be gone on my honeymoon.

I am however going to plan a drive for sometime in August as I have had the itch for sometime now.

Sorry Chaindog- It doesn't sound like there's much interest in the 23rd. The following weekend is the last National race at SCR, so I'm not available either. Would August 6th be a possibility? Maybe it would help to close out this thread and start a new one witha brief description of the drive and where you'd like to take us.

July seems to be a bad month for me as well. I would be up for a meet and or drive sometime in August. I rember during the Steamboat drive that someone mentioned possibly doing a drive and overnight stay to Durango in July (or sometime). My girlfriend and I are still interested in going to Durango (though probably not in July), so if there is still some interest I would like to make plans.

Chaindog, Thanks for getting the ball rolling.

I will be checking for new threads..

Chris
