Yes, I would be up for a meet before the weather turns bad. Time is short and the schedule is busy but maybe we can fit something in. I will check my schedule and post some times that would work for me. Others are invited to do the same and we'll see what works.

I'd be up for a drive...maybe the drive out to Aspen over Independence Pass that we've all been trying to put together for so long, if the pass is still open. Early October works best for me.

Any other destination, route or date/time suggestions?

I would be open for the drive to Aspen. I've not had the Z over Independence Pass yet. It would be fun. Oct. 1 or 2, Oct. 9 or Oct. 16 would work for me.

One other question I know its off the question but are there any dealers in Colorado that are mod friendly?? Also what about a dealer that sells after market?? And how good are they??
Thanks new to the Z thing.

It would have to be a Saturday for me. As for mod-friendly dealers for service, I highly recommend Tynan's Nissan in Aurora. Very mod-friendly, very competent service (talk to Jay or Ryan when you call, and be sure and ask to have Allen work on your car,) very fair prices...especially with the Z-club discount. I drive miles past other dealerships to take my Z to Tynan's whenever it needs service...it's worth it (and no, I don't have any affiliation with them, although I know this sounds like an advertisement.)

I'm not sure if Tynan's sells much after-market stuff, but I know that Boulder Nissan does, and they also have a pretty good reputation. I would stay away from any dealers besides these 2.

I'd second Gary's comments on Tynan's Nissan. As for buying aftermarket parts, a lot of us are looking for the best prices on the web and then taking the parts to Allen for an expert install; if we can't DIY. As for myself, I troll the classifieds section of this board a lot for the parts I select.

As for a mountain drive, I'd be interested in Oct. 14-15 (Fri-Sat) as a possible date. Unfortunately, I've got committments before that.

Oct 15 is time trials- am I really going to be the only Z there? The weekend before works for me, unless we really are going to crash the MB club at 2nd Creek before it's closed FOR-EV-ER.

Opps! Will is absolutely correct about the SCCA National time trial event that weekend. I'm already preregistered, so I'll have to say that my first open weekend will be Oct 22-23rd.

Sorry for my faulty memory- there's still a lot going on this fall!

My weekends are tied up until Oct. 15th too. I have 2 out of town weddings to attend to in a 3 week span, plus the Beer fest in between which I won't miss for anything.

Stopped by the body shop today and they may have paint on her this Friday. Optimistically, I might have her back the following weekend (1-2 Oct). If I do, then I'm going cruising with my baby (you know whom I'm talking about Brian!). Anyone welcomed to come along. If you have ideas, I'm all ears. I just hope mother nature is in a good mood still and she's starting to turn her colors on!!!

I'm game. Will have to take the day off if it is a Saturday. Let’s finalize a date.

I would recomend Woodmen Nissan. They are very pleasant to work with and don't give you a lot of guff if you have a problem (I may be getting a new engine from them soon - oil burning issue). Take I25 North, exit on Woodmen road and you're there. It's my understanding that they have one of only 3 Nissan certified master technicians in the state.

Joel

Just to clarify - They are in Colorado Springs...
