Well I took my car in for grinding clutch. I was expecting a big showdown, but received quite something different.

I described the 5th gear grind, he took my information and car. Didn't ask to drive to try to verify the grind. Mechanic took it back, took out the tranny, found the 2nd 3rd and 5th syncros gone, and ordered a replacement.

I guess I have to cover the 1,200 for the flywheel and other stuff, but overall I'm happy. That was the easiest warranty request I've ever had.

 

That's good to know. Pinnacle has a pretty big service dept.

I had a metallic jingle in my shifter. I dropped it off at 9 and it was done by 2pm
