I'll be there. Figured this is as good a weekend as any to put insurance back on the Z and bring her out of storage.

Great to see everybody yesterday! A day filled with Z and racing talk is a good day indeed. Thanks to GaryM05 for hosting in his awesome garage. Now, back to fixing that %$#! water heater...

David,
You should have posted about your water heater issues. We could have all met at your place for a tech day on water heaters. It would only be fair after all your input at Gary's day. I'd have volunteered to bleed the thing. Might help????

It was a great day and I really enjoyed all the shop talk and race talk. Hope to do it again with the possibility of a "detailing" tech day.

Speaking of detailing.........I have been thinking of putting one of those together with a detailer expert guy I know. I will keep you informed.

Thanks to everyone for coming out, and especially to David for all of his help and hard work in voluntarily teaching about and doing ALL of this:

- diff fluid change
- tranny fluid check and top-off
- brake bleed/flush ( big thanks to Craig, too, for bringing and using his very own self-designed-and-built one-man, one-button brake bleeder...that was a BIG help)
- coolant change
- K&N clean/recharge

And even with all of that, I'm sure there's something we did that I forgot to mention here. It was great to see everyone and be able to spend that beautiful day outdoors (if you can call being in a garage 'outdoors') and talking cars, racing and everything else.

Next time, we'll have to use someone else's car as the 'learning car' so that we can spread around the freebies.

And David, let me know if you want help with that water heater. Like Craig said, we owe you for all the help and guidance on the Z.

Nice meeting you guys, thanks for hosting Gary! It is nice hanging out with a crowd that is a bit more mature than your standard 240SX gathering.

I do auto detailing as a side business if anyone wants to have a detailing day, or if you want help with yours Mudd.

Thanks for all the offers of help on my "water heater tech day". I learned how to use compression fittings to replace a hard line. It's very much like putting on a high performance hose end for an AN line! Now, if I screw it up, my hot water leaks into a drain. But if I blow the installation on the racecar, antifreeze, oil or gas comes out in a torrent!

Who says racing doesn't teach you a few things?
