Default New tuning on the dyno!

Well I was a bit dissapointed with my numbers at the Z dyno day so I went back to MAC today to see what changes I could make. I spent about 45 minutes completely rebuilding the maps on the eManage and this is what I got.

The red chart is from this time around, the blue is one of my runs on the dyno day. You can see that I picked up a bunch of torque down at 4000rpms (around 60 lb/ft!). Peak torque went up and I peak much sooner. All in all it was a good use of $65 and 45 mins!

P.S. This is on my turbo 240sx.

Nice gains! Thanks for sharing, making the SR20 guys jealous with all that bottom end torque. Now if you could swap the cams and valvetrain and rev that iron block a little more....

Once I get the new ECU in there I will lose the 118mph top speed limiter and the new redline will be 7000rpms, which should be high enough for me.

Awesome! I would love to race you some time. I think it would be a great run between your boosted 240 and my N/A 350.

Speaking from experience, he will rape you. My butt is still hurting.
BTW: This is before his new tuning.

Great job Blake

I don't know... We have simular dyno numbers. If so.. Oh well. I know I'm not out to prove anything & I think Blake feels the same.

I just did not want you to go oversea depress. But then again maybe you should run him before going oversea that way when you come back with all that money you will be really ready to go FI.

LOL!!! Good looking out but you might be right... Come back and S/C the Z. Nah... Think I'm going to stay N/A. When I was down visiting SoCal I relized that the Z is a damn fast car and was happy with they way I have it. Just need to get some other minor bolt-ons and tuned. (fyi: ordering the UTEC in June ) Going to get a nice brake kit and suspention and think I' will be very happy.
Anyhow... I'm going to try to make it to Pmi this Saturday. See what she can do.

Speak for yourself, I am compensating.....lol. You are also forgetting that my car is 500lbs lighter than the 350Zs.

LOL Well I forgot the weight factor. Maybe after the UTEC and some more mods but I always enjoy a friendly race win/lose.

Yea 40 hp and 500 lbs make for a bit of a difference, but I like racing so I am down to run them. Too bad you cant make the cruise that would have been a prime time. Racing allows me to guess what I will run at the track before I finally get it up there. Did you run yours at PMI yet?

Yeah that cruise would have been money. Maybe when I get back. I'll be at PMI tomorrow. I'm not the best drag racer and this being my frist rwd I'll see what I can do.
