Question ATTN: Resolute

Will, Did you break down and trade in the Z? I saw it sitting at South Academy Nissan this morning. Please say no!!!! But I understand why if you did. Let me know if you want to get together this week or something.

Default Hell No, Not To Those Bastards!!!

LOL, thanks for the concern. I might actually do it if they gave me a fair price, but fat chance. Those greasy little theives would never offer fair price. It's there getting the fuel filler recal thing done. I also have them listening to it in the morning to try and fix the grinding noise it makes after start-up. They have heard the noise and all, but it goes away after a second and they can't seem to pinpoint where it is coming from. My vote is slack in the timing chain wearing on the guide, but what do I know.

Will: When you drove my Z that night at BW3s, did you notice any difference in the clutch? Apparantly I have an aftermarket clutch. I took it to South Academy Nissan for the fuel recall and to look at the tranny (5th & 6th gear). Guess they opened it up and notice a non-OEM clutch/pressure plate/etc... Mike the service tech said the peddle pressure is the hardest hes felt.

It felt like stock to me. I obviously wasn't trying to tell, but I can't say it felt any different than mine.
