Hey guys, I may not be able to go next week on Weds. I have plans that I am trying to get out of that I didn't think of when posting last night. Would 2 weeks from tomorrow work? I know it's a wait, but I will leave it up to you.

well as my sig says i don't have a z yet but i've still been looking at coming up and racing. i could take the f150 and see how it goes..... or maybe i'll talk to my dad and i'll take the porsche of the bmw 545, just a bit quicker than the truck.

how much is it to just watch though? if theres gonna be a night with quite a few z's i may have to come out just to watch.

also, have any of you ever been up at bandimere and raced a white '06 sti with a driver that looks to be around 17? Or a guy in a red firebird trans am around maybe late 90's model?

those are two of my friends who go up there a lot..... the firebird guy is a dick though, we taped whistles to his exhaust pipes last night... it was amazing.

 

I think it is $10 to spectate....I, like Devildog, MAY go next Wednesday depending on how much fun we have tomorrow night. What time will everybody show up, I plan on about 5:30 possibly a bit sooner. KEVINAPEX!!!! WHERE ARE YOU!!??? That would even make it better if there were a S.C. Z there!!!! I HOPE my runs will be less than 16's until my reaction time gets better....watch me pull 19's!!!! (then I sell the Z)

 

ROFL. we would make you sell your z if you got a 19 j/k bro. remeber this is time for us all to practice and learn from each other. if our times aren't great, who cares we will work on it. this way we aren't infront of 700 people looking like fools at the races. lol

Just thought I would let you guys know.

1......Get there as close to 4:30 as you can. It gets real crowded by 6:00 and you will be limited on runs. You can get more runs in between 4:30 and 5:30 then you will get the whole rest of the night.

2. ....Your reaction time will not affect your overall time for the quarter mile. The clock doesn't start until your tires break the beam.

If anyone has any other questions let me know, I am happy to help. BTW....my fastest time in my stock Z was a 15.03. You will be unlikely to repeat that right now unless the weather is perfect. The density altitude that night was just about 5900' which is just a bit higher then the actual Bandimere altitude. That doesn't happen much, almost perfect air...... for up here.
