So I am leaving my Z behind for two months for a job

I will be in Estes Park for two weeks starting this sunday the 21st. Anything Z related going on in the area? I'm a Florida boy so seeing snow (for the first time) would be kind of nice too, where would I have to go for that?

 

There's not much going on in the Estes area related to cars. It's right on the edge of Rocky Mtn Nat. Park. That's where you want to go to see snow. The highway over Trail Ridge Road doesn't usually open until Memorial Day so there will still be plenty of snow remaining up high. Wear plenty of sunblock and give yourself 2-3 days to acclimate to the altitude at Estes before venturing to 12,000 feet. Have fun!!!

 

sabrefanpc are you bringing your Z?? Thats a long drive from Florida....

 

You'll see snow near Estes Park, I guarantee it. If you get on top of Trail ridge you'll see 10ft of the damn stuff.

 

No Z unfortunately. No Z for 2 months, thats why I wanted to see some haha. Altitude should be fun, haven't considered that. Lived at sea level my whole life so this could be an adventure!

 

If you make it down to Denver, Don(peterputter) will take you to the Wave.
