Not that I'm aware of, I've had my pop charger for over 2 years on the car and I definately don't baby it and it never shut off on me. The only way I can see issues with the car shutting off is with running cams and a lightweight flywheel, in which case JWT has a vacuum fix.

i'm sure you've all seen the posts about popchargers making the car die. I really dont get it. b/c the thing i always see is "best bang for the buck" but then theres a bunch of people saying their car dies on them. can anyone shed some light on this? b/c i really wanted to get a popcharger before i heard of it causing the car to die.

Yes, with some cars, the popcharger will make it stall. This ONLY happens in 6MT if you're in gear while moving forward, rev to high rpms, then put it in neutral to coast. That will make the car stall. This problem goes away after your ECU gets used to the extra intake of air. Plus, if you ever stall while you're moving, then just put it back in gear and problem solved. Last thing - the popcharger does give you the most gains for intakes and it's the cheapest.

I'm not exactly sure how long it takes, but I assume it would be a few days until it's fully used to it. You can either reset it using technosquare method or disconnecting battery, or just let it learn without the reset.

I've never have had that happened in my 6sp Touring. I had done the high speeds runs or high RPMs and put the car into neutral and has never stalled.

You will love the Nismo CAI. I know I love mine. Its location behind the bumper completely shields it from water from front and below. Unless the car ends up in a 10" ditch full of water, you have nothing to worry about. I have driven many times in the heavy downpours we have been having this summer and even at 80mph on I25 with a half inch of water on the pavement, I have had no issues.
