Well it was a fun but slow night at Bandimere. The best I could do was 15.32. Also I wasn't in the mood to be a camera man tonight, so I only took a few shots and only one came out good enough to post. Sorry.

 

What's your best time so far? I'm curious to see what I can do.

Yeah, I put my stock rims on (also used some octane boost) But it sucked at first...I was running worse than with my 20" rim.

Wow. LOL Same times. 15.16 and both have just CAI. So I should be in the high 14's I guess with my mods. What are you trapping at?

From learning from our experiance's, expect the worse (mid 15's) then be pleasently surprised IF something better comes around. This will help avoid the "wanting to sell your car" feeling and possibly promote the "I love my freaking car" high! When I took my 20" rims off, SOOOO many people on the board had me beliving I would drop a second (or more) Guess what...I was doing worse! (here come's the forementioned "sell my car" feeling. Thank God I was able to bring it down to 15.197 (not 15.16) @ 91.34 mph. By the way BIG HEAVY CHROME 20" RIMS ADDED ONLY ABOUT .2 SECONDS TO MY RUNS!!!!!!! Damn haters....
Anyway, Devildog and myself kinda decided CAI MAY HURT 1/4 mile times. I had it the first time we went to Bandimere, he didn't, he beat me by about .2 seconds. Next time we both had CAI and his time suffered a bit. Now there are MANY variables, but minor mods are just that on the track...MINOR! Please if I am wrong someone help me knock some time off my 1/4 miles with "minor mods"!!!!!!

I really do think the CAI hurt my times, but I love the sound of it. Maybe if I do the Cat Back I will get that time back.

 

Well I will have all my mods plus my UTEC tune before I run at Bandi. So hopefully that will get me into those high 14's I was talking about.

 

I have EVERYTHING on video, but no way to post.... Note the under 15 260z!

 

I'm pretty DAMN sure you would do those #'s, just trying not to set ya up for any negatives. When you going? I'm sure many would go for a welcome back!!!!

Don't know when I'll go. Still need to get home, order the UTEC, Install it, Street and dyno tune it, than I'll head up for a couple runs. Maybe Oct.

 

Don't be shy, when you do go, post it. I found the people like KevinApex have really helped bring the Z family (and some really cool peeps's) together. I know at least a handful will be there to support/ participate.
