Default Any interest in Detailing?

So, i got this idea from Justin (subieyacht) from awdpirates
because he is no longer in colorado. i thought maybe i could take his place
and thought i could start a small detailing service going here. i know its starting to become winter but once winter is gone and people start knowing about me before hand. itd help. Also i like detailing cars... and see them shine

$60 for any midsize-car
and maybe a little extra for a SUV, Truck

Which includes:

hand wash with Z-7 soap , dry, and ZFX + Z2 shine with finishing Z-6
(clay bar extra $$ if needed )

clean and z-6 rims / tires

vacuum and spot clean interior

it'd be me and my friend, which should take us about 1-2 hrs.

AND if in the next 24hrs after the wash it rains, we will rewash your car

let us know!

All products are Zaino oh and garage is needed for application

-Dan & Dave

dan and dave,

i'm an old man (36) that doesn't know too much about myspace. what i do know if that i sure wouldn't hire a detailer with the commentary in the moronic "friends" section of the myspace page. Is there a way to turn that off? You're running a business trying to work on $30, 40, 50, 60K cars-not trying to pick up skank on myspace. or, if that's the game, so be it, and good luck with it.

Professionalism sells. You may be 19, but that doesn't mean the website needs to appeal to high schoolers. Run a serious business. Act like you've been there before.

Just my 2 cents, and hope the business works out well.

i know the purpose of the business and the posting isn't looking for women--but when the "friends" section looks the way it does, it doesn't project a professional image.

like i said, that's just my opinion-i hope it goes well for you guys.

as an example, a friend of mine has a benz and his wife drives an audi. they get their cars detailed by an eccentric german guy named Franz. Franz drives a ferrari, and carries his detailing stuff in it to his clients' homes.

Is he a better detailer that you? probably not. does he have a website were "friends" make silly comments about how he might look in a bathing suit? I'd guess not. Like I said, professionalism, especially when dealing with peoples' second most expensive investment behind their home, will go a long way.

I had Dan come over yesterday with his Porter Cable machine and detail the exterior of my 540.
He did an awesome job, unfortunately I did not get any before pics(he might have some) but the difference to me is amazing. It had a lot of light swirling and he eliminated almost all of it, his attention to detail is great, and his prices are reasonable. Thanks for all the hard work Dan.

I also distracted him with pizza and hit the hood of my Z with the PC, white is harder to tell but it looks better as well.

For the guys with black cars(or any car for that matter) I highly recommend him...

On to the Pics-

Wow!!! It does look great! I'm Zanioing my car as we speak. I'd like to get the PC on mine though. How much does he charge? I have the Zanio kit for him to use. How can I get in contact with him?

Doh, I just put his name and not his screen name, it is youngZ33 the guy who started the thread. He is reasonably priced, the big sedan is probably more than a small coupe. I will let him quote you tho.
