Come out afterwards! Don't those military functions wrap up early?

I'm actually looking forward to this event at work. Its "Shop w/a cop". We fund raise all year and now we're taking some of the kids from lower income families to shop at Walmart.

Maybe they'll reward WM's committment to charity, a la' allowing the Salvation Army to campaign outside the stores, versus NOT rewarding Target for forbidding the Salvation Army from standing outside their stores

Auctally, funky you're right. We wanted to do it with several stores but Walmart steped up and donated money AND everything at wholesale vaule. Target and several other stores didn't want to participate because they "didn't want to offend their customers"!!!

Some of the cops here took personal offense to it. Walmart...being smart...also realized that during the holiday seasons they average about one shoplifter a day!.....except when there are twenty cops walking around all day.

I've got a call into Jeff, one of the managers at Finn McCools. He used to own a Z (hopefully he still does) and offered to host some meets in the past at his bar. If I hear back from him, I'll post it up.

OK guys, Jeff checked back and had a very generous offer for our holiday party: 20% off our total bill! He'll also try to reserve the long table (and a few more if needed) for us. Thanks to Jeff and Finn McCools for hosting us.

Too bad you couldn't make it out; we had a great time.

---

Thanks to all who came out and made it another great outing with the local Z group. We'll have to do it again soon!

And thanks to GaryM05 for getting this one started! It's saying something that after four years of attending these Colorado 350Z/G meets, I'm continuously surprised at the interests, skills and diversity of those who attend. To say it's been a BLAST is the quintessential understatement!

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanaka and Happy Holidays to all! Let the Good Times (continue to) roll!

I just saw this post and regretfully dissapointed I missed an event who's location was only 2 miles from my house. Sorry that I haven't been a better participant for meets and track events lately. Work, school, the love of my life, and wedding plans have taken up my time recently. I haven't forgotten my 'Z' family.

A special holiday wish to everyone!

Wedding plans?!?!?! Congratulations!

Sorry you weren't able to make the meet, but we'll hope to see you (and the future Mrs. Peterputter) at a future get-together. Happy Holidays!

Good to hear from you Don! If your ears were burning, it's 'cause we were taking bets on what happened to you (ie. sent on a covert mission, car got whacked or sold, etc.).

Glad to hear it's none of the above and that things are going well. I echo Gary's congrats and wish you and yours the best this Christmas!
