I used to go to petro stop all the time for 93 octane but got tired of always being limited to where I gas up. 91 octane FTW

So help me out here, not that I have the intention of running higher octane but really you HAVE to change mapping or it will cause problems?

As I told robert_k, the only bad thing to do really is step down grades, running a map and then going into the 80's is really bad news. Personally, id not run high octane on a custom map unless its made for that grade. In theory everything is fine, and i plan on driving to mac with the good stuff in, but I know ill be avoiding any heavy pressure on the peddle till i can get a tune that matches that grade. Custom tuning is always tricky but the rule of thumb is just not to step down. Least thats how ive been taught, you can always call up nick and ask him as he is the pro in all these matters IMO.

32nd and Wadsworth, it s Conoco now I believe, sells 100 unleaded at the pump, and you can pump right into your car. Credit cards taken inside (they are older pumps that don't take them at the pump). Last I checked it was about $5.59/gal
