all that snap crackle pop makes me hungry! j/k man That's one thing I miss from the turbo replacing so much of the exhaust, that so familar Z sound!
NICE vids- well done, I want you there when I get my dyno done! Why haven't I seen this thread before?

sounds nice, sounds like you had the same rasp area that I did in the rpm band back when I had the borla exhaust w/ test pipes and n/a. Sounds really nice in the top end.

That sounds great Robert, I'm assuming your test pipes aren't resonated? As much as folks complain about the rasp on the forum, I was expecting much more but yours wasn't bad at all. Any complaints about the sound inside the car? I'm planing on doing test pipes and a new y pipe withe the stock muffler so I'd like to hear your opinion.

btw; the videos all look great.

Thanks first off. The APS 2.5" Test Pipes aren't resonated, straight pipe. The Rasp isn't as bad as everyone makes it as you heard. Next time I'm up North, or you're down South, we can try to hook up so you can hear it in person. The in-cab sound isn't bad. The wife and I drove to Long Beach w/o any problems of headaches or anything. However, when you hit it, you and everyone else will know. I highly suggest the APS TP. I ordered mine from GRD for $200 shipped. You can find them on Performance Nissan (MyNismo.com) for around the same price but they sometimes are out of stock. As far as the y-pipe, I was going to go the same route as you but decided not to. My reason is, that I knew in the future I would want a full cat-back. Snice most cat-backs come with the y-pipe I deicided to save that money. However, after researching and not wanting a loud exhaust, I've sold myself on the Tanabe Touring exhaust. The Tanabe Touring however doesn't come with a y-pipe, its a y-pipe back exhaust. I plan on buying the Tanabe y-pipe to go with the Tanabe Touring exhaust. Hope this help you out.

I'd love to come down there and hear it but I'm still snowed in, not sure when the next time the Z will see the road. Not sure who decided that since there was a lot of snow to just skip plowing the neighborhoods....

Anyway after seeing your vids I just picked up a set of stillen tp's, couldn't be the price. Man I love the internet...

Here in the classifieds, guy had them on for 1000 miles or so he says...just good timing with me hearing your car and him posting them an hour ago.

In your opinion with popcharger, test pipes and y pipe, would I need a tune?

Sweet! As far as a tune I suggest getting dynoed and check your AFR. After installing all my parts I was running pretty lean. Hench the reason for the UTEC. However you can never go wrong investing money into an EMS.
