Colorado friends, I have wheel questions....
It's pretty simple..If you have a center of your rim, say it's a 9" wide rim so the middle would be 4.5" offseting that positive or negetive would be making the wheel either fit more towards the underneath of a car or out toward's the fender. Sorry I guess that isn't that easy to explain after all...

Positive offset pushes the wheel INTO the center of the car, negative offset pushes it OUTSIDE the car. Thats all thats important. Usually, the more it is away from stock (+30 on a 8'' wheel about), the worse it gets. Offset is measured in mm. People use offset ot get a flush look without using wider wheels. For example, a 10'' wheel w/ a 0 offset will look the same as a 9'' wheel with a -10 offset. Offsets also determine what tires you CAN use and ur suspension setup. A low offset causes negative camber and stuff like that...
However, good looks come at a price!
^ thats how i understand it atleast..

The offset of a wheel is what locates the tire and wheel assembly in relation to the suspension. More specifically, it is the measured distance between the hub mounting surface and the center line of the rim. Below is an explanation of the various types of offsets which are pictured in the above graphic.
Positive Offset
A positive offset occurs when the hub mounting surface is on the street side (the side you see) of the center line of the rim. Most factory rims will have this type of offset.
Zero Offset
When the hub mounting surface is centered within the rim, it is known as a zero offset.
Negative Offset
If the hub mounting surface is on the brake side of the center line of the rim, it is considered a negative offset or “deep dish”.
Note that extensive negative offset can potentially cause increased steering wheel kick-back and place additional stresses on the vehicle's entire suspension.

Thanks for all the help. Too many damn choices in the wheel market and too many things to think about, I will never be able to make a final decision......
I should just buy a set of stock "Track" wheels and call it a day.

Yeap... I know the feeling. That's why its not on my top ten list of mods to do right now. Wheels will come when they come. I'm already setting my mind on spending $2500-$3500 for wheels and tires.
