TECH DAY for Nissan Sport/PMI safety class/track day
I am once again opening up my home/garage to anyone interested in (& willing to help) do some minor preparation for the March 9th Class/Track day at PMI. I'm more than happy to help out on Saturday March 3rd and for those that have last minute issues Thursday March 8th. Hosting this on a Saturday & Thursday the evening before I feel will benefit everyone. I can assist with minor preparations; fluid changes, brake pad changes, wheel swaps, etc... I'm sorry I don't have any air tools so get ready to show your strength. I have one floor jack and 4 stands. If want (don't mind) bring your stands as well. If you are interested please let me know and I will PM my address and phone numbers.
BTW: I could use some help with a brake fluid flush.

As mentioned in the thread on the Nissan Sport HPDC, car preparation is up to each participant. Props to Robert K for offering this on the south side. If anybody needs to get some basic mechanical work done for the event, here's your chance! For more than the basic stuff, see a professional tech.
Don't wait until the last minute to do a basic safety check of your G/Z. There's always a part or something that needs to be ordered and you won't want to get stuck waiting.

-Replace diff oil
-Replace break fluid

Robert- add to your list checking hubs and rod ends for excessive play. Do a visual inspection of the chassis, including all load-bearing suspension parts. Retorque wheels and make sure you have a FULL tank of gas for the day.

I have class on Thurs. night, but might come down there during the day. You know me, I'll wrench on anything available if there's food involved. What time did you have in mind? My vote is for burgers over hot dogs, btw I guess I'll have to go to your place to bleed my brakes anyway, now that I think about it, since I still need to get my brake bleeding bottle from you.
