It has to be the baddest *** sounding kit in the history of cars. I know some will disagree, but thats what my opinion is. Sounds like you are driving a wind tunnel or a jet.

Your o2 sensors are tripping your CEL. you need to get some defoulers to fix the problem.

Ok........so I'm thinking that the constant exhaust smell I am getting I bet is from the test pipes? I'm thinking that might be the case because if there are no cats left, then there is nothing to basically clean/filter the exhaust anymore, hence I would be smelling it alot especially with the windows down.

I know earliar it was making me light headed, so I was kinda worried. I didn't wanna pass out or nothing.

I've learned once you get in the "g a ss hole", it takes awhile to clear out that smell....o2 sensors....I don't know but when you change your HP that much, your gonna freak out a sensor. You know your AFR is good, I wouldn't worry about it, I know it's annoying but......

Best to just pull the code and check what it is to know for sure. But if you have open exhaust the exhaust is gonna smell like it, but burnt gas that is. If it's a definitively strong smell of unburnt gas I'd have the fuel lines just double checked.

Welcome to the FI world of never ending SEL lights! I'll pull the code for you, I bet itis 1283 bank one lean, If it runs good,I hate them too but get uesd to it!
Gas smell is from spillage from takeing the pump out x3 times, the spills soak into the tar, rubber mating around the pump housing, it will get less and less over the next 5 years!

I will have to make my way up there Kevin to pull it. I assume it's nothing to worry about? Seems to run just fine tooling around town.

I figured I would be having lighhts coming on all the time. BTW.........Gas and exhaust smeels have subsided alot.

Yes, I will be in Boulder between 10am and noon or 1pm or so. I need to do a few service calls up there. Plan on stopping into Boulder Nissan as well.

I need to hit up Rome's, but I haven't been in awhile. We really need to set up some happy hour meet, it just seems most people on here aren't all that excited to go out after work for a few hours. Maybe I am wrong.

Could also be that 1444 code if you have UTEC, look for that one since it never goes away. Also, that smell doesnt go away very fast, i have text pipes and i still get it. Lessens over time but never leaves. All the more reason to drive with your windows down.

A large number of us on this forum and a bunch in denver have thrown the 1444 code. Mine happened right after UTEC was installed. It only happens when the UTEC isnt on the car. Even on map 0 it will still throw it. Something about what UTEC is doing is being magnified at alltitude to throw the error. Bill is still trying to figure it out and many of us are still scratching our heads about it.
